DIY Gingerbead House Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Frosting (Your "Glue")

Mix approximately 1 tablespoon of water with the provided oat powder in a bowl. Stir until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency similar to that of apple sauce. This will serve as the adhesive for your gingerbread house.

Step 2: Unpack the Cookie Pieces

Carefully unpack the cookie pieces from the packaging. You should have a total of 6 cookie pieces: 4 walls and 2 roof pieces. Keep in mind that the roof pieces are distinguished by the frosting already applied to them.

Step 3: Construct the Base of the House

Using the frosting, attach the four wall pieces together at 90-degree angles. Start by connecting two wall pieces to form a corner, then attach the remaining two pieces to create a square or rectangular base. Hold each piece in place for a few moments to ensure a secure bond.

Step 4: Attach the Roof

Once the walls are securely in place, it’s time to add the roof. Use the frosting to attach the two roof pieces on top of the walls, ensuring they fit snugly. You may need to hold them for a moment to allow the frosting to set.

Step 5: Allow to Dry

Your gingerbread house foundation is now complete! Let it sit undisturbed for about 15 minutes to allow the frosting to dry and harden, providing a sturdy base for decorating.

Step 6: Get Creative with Decorations!

Now for the fun part! Use the provided decorations and frosting to adorn your gingerbread house. Feel free to be as creative as you like to personalize your masterpiece.

Step 7: Enjoy!

For maximum stability, let your gingerbread house rest for an additional 15 minutes after decorating. Then, let your bunny enjoy their very own gingerbread house!

We recommend splitting it into about six feedings for a 5lb bunny—one piece of the house per feeding. And don’t forget to snap a pic of your creation and tag us @thebinkery to show off your masterpiece!
